Honda takes us on a walk down the path of nostalgia with the current Happy Honda Days Sales Event "actors". Do you still have your favorite toy from childhood? Reminisce with these great videos from Honda!

   Stretch Armstrong

The original Stretch Armstrong was produced from 1976-1980, and re-emerged with a makeover in 1993. This pliable pal fresh out of the box was a 15 inch action figure that could be stretched to a length of 4-5 feet.

At the culmination of his career, Stretch had almost 70 different versions of himself all across the globe!

 Gumby & Pokey

A childhood pal beloved by many, Gumby is a cultural icon. He started out in the early 50's as a claymation character, created by Art Clokey. Did you know: Gumby's slanted head design was based on the hairstyle of the designer's father? And those large feet kept the clay character firmly planted for filming.

 Jem

Ahhh, that pink hair! The great animated girl-rocker of the eighties was based on the adventures of a real-life music company owner/singer and her band. She wore technically advanced earrings that projected a hologram disguising her true identity. Trivia: How many different rival bands were part of the show?

 Skeletor

Skeletor originated in the early eighties as the archenemy of He-Man, from the Masters of the Universe cartoon. As ruler of Snake Mountain, his ultimate goal was to overthrow Castle Grayskull and thus become the master of Eternia and the whole universe.

   Strawberry Shortcake

Did you know that Strawberry Shortcake debuted as a greeting card character with her cat Custard in 1977? Strawberry and her friends grew into a line of dolls, clothing, sticker albums, and more as an early eighties phenomenon. She was redesigned and revived a few times, but the original Strawberry is still fondly remembered and well loved.

 Little People

The precursor to Little People began in 1950 as a toy fire truck set, complete with 3 round-headed firemen. In 1959, the original Little People characters were introduced, and are one of the longest lasting and most widely popular toys ever made. Did you know: some of the early Little People figures were constructed from rolled cardboard?
