Our favorite Japanese automaker makes some truly excellent vehicles for drivers of all types, but did you know that they're also developing technologies away from the roads? Honda has been researching Walking Assist Technologies since 1999 and they've come leaps and bounds since then with two pieces of equipment made to assist those with mobility problems.

The first is called Stride Management Assist and it's attached to the waist and legs of the user. A small motor on the lower back sends power to the legs to increase the user's stride length and walking speed while reducing overall exertion. The second is called Bodyweight Support Assist and utilizes a seat the user sits on, attached to robotic legs that attach to the user's feet. This technology supports more body weight and can help the user walk, crouch, and even climb stairs! These are incredible in assisting the elderly, the injured, and others who have problems with mobility.

While we wait for more details about what else the automaker is doing, come out to Larry H. Miller Honda Boise today and see what he vehicle lineup has to offer you! With so many new Honda models to peruse, you'll have no trouble finding the ride of a lifetime at a price you can afford.
